DESCRIPTION:Lorraine Noble-Thompson has sent me the following message. \n“Following the enthusiastic response\, we received at the March 2026 Council Meeting regarding our new event concept\, I am thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the “Ride Before You Buy” event on October 4\, 2026\, at the Abingdon Cricket Ground\, Culham Road\, Abingdon\, OX14 3HP. \nThis event promises to be an exciting opportunity for all MG Car Club Registers to come together and share our passion for these remarkable vehicles\, as well as close up and personal to the public of Abingdon.  Offering them rides to entice them in to not only MG Cars\, but also the MG Car Club.. you never know you may be taking a grandfather for a ride who actually worked on the car you are driving. \nThe Abingdon Works Centre will taking the lead in organizing this event\, and we are eager to collaborate with each of the Registers to make it a memorable experience. \nFor any inquiries or further details\, please reach out to Ian Wright at ian.wright@mgccawc.co.uk. He will be your primary contact for this event.”
