South West Centre Summer Picnic 2022

Alan Diamond and Dave Heath are organising the 2022 Summer Picnic at the Haynes Motor Museum, Sparkford, Yeovil.  We have a dedicated parking area next to the charging points in the car park.  

The Museum opens at 10:00 and Alan and Dave have secured discounts on all tickets, mention you are with The MG Car Club South West Centre.  The restaurant will be open but only serving light snacks.

There is no planned route to get to the museum, just turn up.

Alan and Dave are looking forward to seeing you all there.

    Hi, I am a new member based near Honiton (E. Devon), so delighted to see you are organising an event not too far from me. You may wish to contact the Haynes museum and ask them to extract the MGF from storage. It USED to be displayed in “the Red Room”, but was not on display anywhere when I visited August 2021, or April 2nd.

    Is this event still happening? I understand that many members will be attending MG Live at Silverstone instead, but as I WAS intending to come to Haynes, I did not want to turn-up and feel like “Johnny-no-mates”. As I am trying to persuade my wife to come along (she is not a car fan) she will be unimpressed if there is no-one else (from MGCC) there!
