This year we are returning to the East Somerset Railway, which we last visited in 2017. This is a delightful railway starting at Cranmore Station, near Shepton Mallet, the train takes 40 minutes to make the round trip of 5 miles. Train tickets, which allow you to travel all day, are £11.00 for an adult or £10.00 concession. Children are £9.00.
There is a large grass car park for the cars and plenty of room for a picnic. Due to Covid restrictions the Whistle Stop Café may have limited service.
