We had a super day with the MGs On Grass 1 Autotest Event which took place last Sunday. It is a pity that it clashed with National Drive it Day, which meant we only had 5 entries. However, that did not stop the fun and enjoyment of driving a rear wheel drive, lightweight, sports car on a field which had had sheep roaming until the Friday and the early morning dew, did hang around until mid morning, making the cars understeer and wheelspin a lot. As I said great fun. A full report and results are available on these site pages; MGOG1 Event Report and MGOG1 Results.
Our next event is another breakfast meet, once again organised by Martyn Lucas, but this time at the Cotswold Airport, AV8 restaurant on Saturday 10th May. Full details available on the event page, Cotswold Airport AV8 Restaurant Breakfast Meet.
Running across the weekend of 16th to 18th May is the Midland Centre Welsh Rallye including a road run organised by Bob Blackstock, “Not just a run but an MG Motoring Mini Break”. Full details are available on the event page here MGCC Midland Centre Welsh Rallye.
