Summary; New dates for lunch natters, AGM and Saturday Lunch, Wheels & Wings, Clothing Store, 90 for the 90 News.
New dates for the Tuesday Lunch Natter at the White Hart
Following discussion with the committee and the Lunch Natter leaders, it has been decided to change the White Hart Lunch natters from the 2nd Tuesday of the month to the 1st Tuesday of the month. This is to alleviate the problem of both the Tuesday and Thursday natters occurring in the same week (as it does 4 times in 2026 under the old dates) allowing those members who wish to attend both lunchtime natters, at least one week between lunches. The calendar and website dates have been updated and are available here, Printable Calendar and Lunch Natter Dates (two separate links).
South West Centre AGM
It has been confirmed that the MGCC South West Centre, Annual General Meeting will take place at the Three Magpies Melksham, same venue as last year, on Saturday 7th March followed by lunch. Full details will be made available nearer the date.
Wallop Wheels and Wings
Details of the Wallop Wheels and Wings event at the Army Flying Museum, Middle Wallop on Saturday 11th July, have been added to the Events page. Entries are limited so if you wish to attend and park in the MG Paddock, please visit the event page here Wallop Wheels & Wings and book your place as soon as possible.
Clothing Store

With Christmas fast approaching, why not consider some South West Centre Logoed clothing? Head for the Clothing Store on the website and treat yourself, or a friend, to some excellent value clothing with the South West Centre Logo.
90th Anniversary Year 2026 – 90 for the 90

To celebrate the 90th Anniversary next year, all Club members are invited to take part in “90 For The 90”, a Self-Guided Motor Tour around the Centre. The aim is simple – to get us all out enjoying our MGs. Let’s drive them!
Every South West Centre member will receive a birthday card which will list 90 places or events of interest within the Centre, that can be visited between January 1st and September 30th 2026 – no set route, no set timescale, it’s up to members on how they choose to take part.
The birthday cards are at the printers and you should receive one in with your Safety Fast magazine (for those with an online only subscription, the card will be available on the website for download and printing). Select a destination from the list in the birthday card, take a digital photograph of you, your car, your birthday card and the location as evidence of your visit and submit a claim and photograph by email (A special address will be set up). We are not expecting you to visit all of the 90 places, but there could be a prize for the MG car that visits the most different venues.
