A new Breakfast Meet has been added to the events calendar for 2026, this time as part of the Clevedon Cars and Coffee Meet on Saturday 9th May 2026. Details are on the website at Clevedon Cars and Coffee
90th Anniversary Year 2026 – 90 for the 90
To celebrate the 90th Anniversary next year, all Club members are invited to take part in “90 For The 90”, a Self-Guided Motor Tour around the Centre. The aim is simple – to get us all out enjoying our MGs. Let’s drive them!
Every South West Centre member will receive a birthday card which will list 90 places or events of interest within the Centre, that can be visited between January 1st and September 30th 2026 – no set route, no set timescale, it’s up to members on how they choose to take part.
The birthday cards were printed, but unfortunately, we missed the deadline for them to arrive with the December/January issue of Safety Fast magazine (for those with an online only subscription, the card will be available on the website for download and printing).
The dedicated website for “90 for the 90” will go live on January 1st and will include a pdf version of the Birthday Card, which you can download and print, if you need one before the end of January, when the February SF will be published and sent out.
The challenge is easy, just visit a destination from the list in the birthday card, take a digital photograph of you, your car, your birthday card and the location as evidence of your visit and submit a claim and photograph using the claim form on the dedicated website. We are not expecting you to visit all of the 90 places, but there could be a prize for the MG car that visits the most different venues.
