This is an MG Car Club Invitation to all South West Centre Members to join in the celebrations of Cecil Kimber’s first run of the Lands End Trial 100 years ago in 1925.

Brief Itinerary:
Friday 18/4/2025 – ‘Good Friday’
P.M: Scenic Road run from Launceston area to Hawkins MG, Blackwater (avoiding spine roads)
Evening: Drinks & Canapés at Hawkins MG, Blackwater – Official Arrival of ‘Old Number One’ in the Devon & Cornwall Centre in Celebration of its Centenary

Saturday 19/4/25 – ‘Easter Saturday’
A.M: Re-enactment(s) of ‘Old Number One’ climbing ‘Old Bluehills’ – photos/videos and spectator opportunity pre-main-trial arrival
Pre 11.00 hrs – ‘Old Number One’ & MG Marque Display in Football Lane (western side of Bluehills valley) – MCC Event Spectator Parking
Spectating of the Modern Trials Hill available for All.
Evening: ‘Old Number One’ Centenary Event Meal with ‘Kimber’s Special’ displayed outside the Alverton Manor Hotel, Truro
