Last Sunday, MGF 30 was held at the British Motor Museum, Gaydon Warwickshire, this event was in celebration of the launch of the MGF in 1985. I was there in my Silver 1989 MGF and chatted to a few of the other MG F owners I have known over the years I have been with the club. Speaking to Andy Knott and Colin Grant from Kimber House, 530 tickets for the event were sold. It was a bit damp at the start of the day, but I would say that 90% of those with tickets attended. It was MG F and TF cars where ever you looked, including some from Belgium, Holland and Germany. There was also an impressive line up of MG F racing cars from Team CMC as well (Photo below).
Today was the lunchtime natter at the White Hart Iron Acton. 8 MGs were in attendance including 2 new (to their owners) MGs, Dave Mothersdill has a very nice MG B V8 Roadster and John Thomas, a modern Silver MGTF. The sun was shining, and food and conversation were good. Photos of the MGs attending below.
