SafetyFast! Notes – April 17

Following on from the AGM held on 7 March, John Delafield, the Competitions Secretary, has decided to step down after 33 years on the committee. I would like to thank John for all his work and dedication to keeping the Centre events on the straight and narrow. Ian Beningfield has agreed to take John’s place. Ian is an ardent competitor in the Luffield Speed Championship and retained the championship title for the second year in a row, so we feel he is ideally suited for the role. The remainder of the committee were voted on as last year along with Dave Jacobs asa new commitee member and Mike Angwin was co-opted onto the committee after the AGM. A full list and contact details of the committee can be found on the centre website.

Friday June 16-18 2017 – Bristol Classic Car Show, at the Shepton Mallet Showground. As usual we are having a four car stand at this prestigious show and I would like some cars to display. We have won the best sports car award two years running at the show, so I would love to do the same again this year. If you have a car you think everyone would like to see then please get in touch.
