Special Chew Valley Natter – Wiscombe Hillclimb 2022 Film – 4th April

At the Chew Valley Natter, Ring o Bells, Compton Martin, on Tuesday evening 4th April we shall be showing the preview of a documentary about the 2022 Wiscombe Hill Climb. This 25min documentary produced by. Tony Blake and John Cockwell covers all aspects of the event, with shots at all the key corners.

It includes in-depth interviews with some of the MG stalwarts, Keith Riches, Rob Orford and our SW Centre Chairman,Ian Beningfield, describing their experience of driving the hill, highlighted by some in-car video. The video concludes with Bruce Weston’s recollections on his retirement from running the event after so many years.

With the longer evenings and hopefully fine weather, what better excuse to give your MG a run out.  Because our agreement with Wiscombe precludes the use of the video outside of the MGCC it won’t be available on Netflix or YouTube, so coming along to the natter is your best chance of seeing it!
