This coming Saturday, 14th September, is the SW Centre’s premier event, the Wiscombe Park Hillclimb. We have a full entry list of cars from the MGs, obviously, through various other makes and clubs and this year, we welcome the Ferrari Owners Club of Great Britain, to our event. This is going to be a round of the 2024 CSA Service Group Ferrari Hillclimb Championship. Why not come and join us as a spectator at this wonderful setting for motorsport.
October 13th – the draft regulations and entry form are now available (details here) for our annual Kimber Car Trial at Dundry, BS41 8NU, on the Wells Road. This is a field with not one, but 2 hills and there will be 4 separate tests to negotiate with at least 3 runs at each test. No special skills or cars are required, jut the ability to drive up a grassy hill between set markers, with the number of point gained decreasing as you get near the top. At the end of the day the driver with the least points wins. As this is a trial, passengers (also known as bouncers!) are mandatory. If you have an MG and fancy some fun, cheap, non damaging motorsport come along and give it a try.
