SafetyFast! Notes – May 2017

The first championship event of the season has taken place with the MGs on Grass 1 (MGOG1) Autotest. The event took place on April 8 in glorious sunshine, and 12 members and invited guests took part. To make the event more interesting we ran the event as an Autotest and a Production Car Autotest. A PCA allows passengers to be carried and also drivers as young as 14, as long as they are accompanied by a full licence holder. This format will be used again for the MGs on Grass two event later in the year. The results were as follows:

Fastest Overall – Ben Delafield, MG Midget
1st Midget class – John Delafield, MG Midget
2nd Midget class – Ian Beningfield, MG Midget
1st Others class – Kim Dear, MG PB
2nd Others class – Peter Jones, MG TC
