Chairman’s Chat 27 July 2021

I mentioned last week that there had been a change of venue for both of the lunchtime natter, this has changed this week and the North Bristol Lunchtime natter will be at the White Hart Iron Acton as was last year. Details of both Lunchtime Natters can be found on by clicking here https://www.mgccsw.com/lunchtime-natters/

Whilst continuing on the Natters Theme, the evening Natters will also be resuming from the 1st August with the Ring O’ Bells at Compton Martin starting on the 3rd August. Details of the evening Natters can be found by clicking here https://www.mgccsw.comhttps://www.mgccsw.com/natters//natters/. You will notice that the number of natters has depleted from last year. This is because I tried to contact the natter leaders, but either the number was no longer recognised or I did not get a reply. If anyone knows if the following Natters are still live, can they let me know please by email chairman@mgccsw.com or mobile 07773491953 so I can add them back onto the list.
The 8 Bells Inn, Carisbrook, Newport, Isle of Wight.
The Rose and Crown, Hewish Episcopi, Somerset
The Fox and Goose, Coombe Bassett, Salisbury

The MGs On Grass Event took place last Sunday and according to Dave Coppock, everyone enjoyed the event and a report and results will be posted on the website soon.

    Hello Jim
Have just seen your report on the Naviscat in Hereford from Weston’s Cider. It sounds like a really good event and lots of fun. Hopefully, the guys can get it on to the calendar for next year. I would certainly enter and enjoy the chance to see that lovely part of the England again.
    Keep safe
    Chris
