Chairman’s Chat – 10th May 22

Last weekend saw our first competitive event of the year with MGs on Grass One taking place. Sadly I missed the event with my speed championship commitments but I hear from some of those who attended that the day and the new venue were a great success. Huge thanks must go Peter and Victoria for all their efforts putting on the event.

Next up is our first social event, the Wye Valley Run on Sunday 22nd May. As you may have read on the website sadly Terry Davies, a long-time stalwart of the club and organiser of the event for many years sadly passed away last month and so we have decided to rename the event in Terry’s memory and will be raising money for his chosen charity on the day.

Full details about the event are available here. So that we can arrange a suitably sized parking area at Goodrich Castle where the run will finish please email Jim Lott if you’re planning on attending.

I’ll be joining the run and hope to see some new and old faces, fingers crossed that the current good weather lasts
